Moco Museum

The Moco Museum is a modern art museum located behind the Rijksmuseum. The building itself is a townhouse that was build in the early twentieth century before being re-purposed as a museum. Works on display are from artists such as Marina Abramovic, Andy Warhol, and Banksy. Moco, like most of the nearby museums have self-guided tours with audio information about some of the works. Learning about the statements that the artists are trying to make is very interesting. The museum itself is a cozy three levels with a handful of rooms and a couple of interactive displays as well. There are also a couple of exhibits outside in the lawn/garden. It was a nice change from some of the nearby museums with huge rooms and hundreds of exhibits.
